BleepingComputer.com: can't get online via Verizon DSL

Sorry I didn't know if I could post this in malware section-Forgive me if this is wrong. Malware gurus: Would it be helpful or hurt to try to get infected XP Windows machine online via help from Verizon-doing things in menus while waiting for help? I cannot post the GMER file from netbook says file was over 512 at around 782. I am currently on non-secured network with netbook. I posted what I could all but gmer.

I am waiting for verizon to send router/modem however i was able to get online just wireless would not set up but now cannot & driver loaded but says network card disconnected. I don't know if it would be helpful to try to get machine online with Verizon before help arrives.

Computer hell for 2 or 3 weeks...Also I was hoping to print out fed tax forms to do taxes/need schedule C etc-don't have print driver for netbook/don't know if I can use printer with this netbook which has Windows 7 starter gotta find out from HP or ASUS.

You are good as is...I just checked and the DDS log is there.
