When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I was recently infected with a rogue anti-virus software that calls itself MS Removal Tool. I read a guide posted here on bleepingcomputer, but to no avail. As per the guide's specifications, I booted in safe mode with networking and ran my free copy of MBAM. I don't know if I happened to get a new version of the virus or something, but my problem is that MBAM didn't scan anything that registered as an infection, so now I'm in search of a way to remove this virus manually. All help is greatly appreciated. (I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, if that helps)
