When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hello,

I opened an email claiming to be from FEDEX. It turned out to be a virus. Now I can't open any program on my computer and I can't even use system restore. When I try to open a program it either opens a window asking me which program I want to open it with as if it is an unknown file, or a window pops up and says that the program file was not found. I tried to use the anti virus downloads from multiple sources and when I try to open them the same problem occurs. I can only use Mozilla Firefox. Also I can open files such as word doc's as a work around to open the programs. Any help on removing this virus would be wonderful.

Thank you for reading.
