Help
I have had this icon in my tray for weeks. i keep clicking it...it says installing...then complete. then it comes back. i have gone to the update website, there is a malware update avail. i install it from the website and it says complete...then i check for updates and it is still there.
there is some sort of problem.
Also having an issue with my symantec anti-virus...the real time protection will not update or work. has been this way for some time.
how do i check to see if my xp is corrupted? do i have some intrusion that is pretending to be 'update'. have i deleted a reg key or something?? what is the problem?
