Runtime Error Message

I am running Windows XP Professional

When I try to run Autocad 2006 I get a pop up as follows:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Autocad 2006\acad.exe

abnormal program termination
_____________________________________________________

Then whether I hit OK or close the pop up and my program close. Any suggestions on what I need to do ? Thank you

Current version installed is probably damaged, IMO.
