I would suggest SUPERAntiSpyware.

Don't install that program on your computers guys. That is a virus. Look here.
Also, @adriana - I don't think that Kaspersky will ever give away their scanning engine to anyone for free.

I will report that matter to the mods. :)

Ad-Aware seems to be better one. Although I'd say they are not that good. Go for Malwarebytes.

Maybe Ad-Aware? Or SpyBot?

mvps.org is no longer recommending Spybot S&D or Ad-Aware due to poor testing results. See here - (scroll down and read under Freeware Antispyware Products). Ad-Aware has even been placed into the Installers Hall of Shame for bundling and pre-checking Google Chrome during the installation. Also read Lavasoft Turning to the Dark Side? written by a former volunteer (now a MVP) who provided support for Ad-Aware but no longer uses the program.

As for Spybot S&D, most people don't understand how to use TeaTimer and that feature can cause more problems than it's worth. TeaTimer monitors changes to certain critical keys in Windows registry but does not indicate if the change is normal or a modification made by a malware infection. The user must have an understanding of the registry and how TeaTimer works in order to make informed decisions to allow or deny the detected changes. If you don't have understanding how a particular security tool works, then you probably should not be using it. Additionally, TeaTimer may conflict with other security tools which do a much better job of protecting your computer and in some cases it will even prevent disinfection of malware by those tools.

More effective alternatives are Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware Free.

You can also supplement your security tools and get a second opinion by performing an an Online Virus Scan.

Threatfire or PrevX might be of interest to you. I have Threatfire installed and it has saved my butt a few times.

Budapest suggested SuperAntiSpyware which I woudl recommend as well.
Its a good compliemt to MBAM & I think better than Ad Aware and Spybot.
In the beginning there was the command line.

Thanks all

Yes, superantispyware is pretty good, but I heard somewhere that it only scans, not actually removes stuff. Is this true?

So....no adaware and spybot then.

Brings me to avast. avast is good?

EDIT: Just found out Antivir too form Avira.

So.

Between three, Super anti spyware, Avira antivir, or Avast.

Which is it guys? :P

They are not the same thing. Avira and Avast (and AVG) are antivirus applications whereas SuperAntiSpyware is an antispyware application. You should only ever have ONE antivirus installed on your computer.
