I think (know) my computer has been attacked. It is a company computer. For a couple of weeks now, whenever I am in Internet Explorer 8 and use any search engine, when I click on a result, I get redirected to a totally other site. I can not back out...it just keeps going to another site. If I click on a result and then press stop when it appears in the address bar ... then right click and press copy ... then refresh and stop right away ... then paste into the address bar and press refresh, it will go to the right page 50% of the time. This is very annoying. I have tried looking for malware using SpyBot, Spy Doctor and Emsisoft Anti-Malware software. My machine normally runs Vipre.
I downloaded the dds.scr and tried to run, but it just opened the file in Notepad. The icon is being displayed as an Autocad Script. How do I get dds to run? Need help in getting my computer fixed.
Thanks
