Help
I have Windows Vista Home Premium, with service pack 2, running at 64 bit operating system. Recently, my computer sleep mode will not activate. When i hit "sleep" monitor goes blank but the computer does not go into power save mode. I have followed a couple of Microsoft suggestions (i.e. turn off and on the sleep, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

I've found Sleep and Hibernate to work great for some folks and to be very buggy for others. Instead of either, I always recommend setting the display and hd to power down after a defined period of inactivity.

Sleep and Hibernation issues can be traced to non-updated drivers such as video card drivers.
Please perform the following, so that we can get the exact specs of your computer. This will better assist us in helping you more.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.
