Hello! You know in Vista, how if you select an audio file, at the bottom of Windows Explorer appears a listing with various info, which you can edit, such as the artist, album etc.? Well, I was wondering if there is a way to erase artists (for example ones that are just cluttering up the list that you have no other music/files from) from this list, or just disable it altogether? Thank you very much!

You can right click on it, and select Remove Properties.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

When I right-click, I do see "remove properties," but it's darkened out. Also, will that change the settings so that doesn't appear at all, or just for that one file? And how can I get the button to work?

Yes, otherwise I would not have been able to see the list at all. ;)

I hit some button which got rid of it completely. It's too bad; I liked the general idea, I just wanted to clean out or get rid of that annoying list.
