This is the first time I have used this so I will try to explain the best I can. I received a message on my desk top stating I had some sort of spyware program. Atfer running Nortons I had no luck with fixing the problem. I found the area called Preperation Guide for use before posting a Highjack This log. I craeted an account, enable topic reply notification by default, cleaned temp internet files, scaned computer with Ad-Aware and Spybot, then I used Bit Defender to scan computer and ran McAfee AVERT Stinger, did the firewall and got windows updates and then when I downloaded HighjackThis I saved it to my desktop I hit unzip then close but when I went back in to open it it would not open. I have tried several times to do this sep and each time it will not open. I no longer have the spyware banner in the center of my desk top but I get a System Error 384 when I click on the Internet Explorer Icon. With all the scans I have ran it always seems like there are 6 errors in files that I can not get rid of and I dont know if they are stuck in something that runs when I restart the computer or not. Another thing was I did not know if I should be running these in safe mode or not and I do have my system resore disabled right now.
I am so confused right now any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Mdfjeld
