I found your site by accident looking for a better way of managing infected computers where individuals have no knowledge of what they get into when they visit internet sites. My background started in 1955 with IBM wired computers and then into the first computer technology 1n 1960. I have worked in both large mainframe, mid-range mainframes, and all the small computers that came about. I retired from Hitachi in 2002 after 16 years of working on both hardware and software applications that were introduced into the US marketplace. Since being retired I devote my time to working with disadvantaged children and handicapped individuals living independent. I work with two groups teaching them how to refurbish computers, desktop, laptops, etc to give away free for these people. I train and teach with both verbal and written documentation on how to maintain and keep their computers infection free. In the Microsoft world there is so much junk, it's hard to keep up with the software available to maintain these computers. In my Apple world there are less problems, and I tend to refurbish Apple laptops for school kids because of the software available for the gifted students. I would be interested in sharing thoughts with others who are into the same situations. Currently I am in the process of writing a paper for grant dollars to bid Apple Mac Books that are up for bid at least once a month by the State of Maine.
