Hi
My computer has been infected with windows diagnostic & there seems to be so many solutions when I google this.
What is the correct method to remove this. Talk about a pain of a virus.
Cheers
Pete

Please use the removal guide at the following link:
Remove Windows Diagnostic (Uninstall Guide)
The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM. Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply. Be sure to post the complete log to include the top portion which shows MBAM's database version and your operating system.
Please post the log and let us know how the system is running now.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. I scanned my computer the first time, it completed however I could not get the log copied before it restarted. Not sure if I clicked on anything as there was pop ups all over the place. In the log I noticed the scan removed all virus except ,from memory, "Fake HDD not sucessful". The computer restarted with no sign of the virus. Thought I would re-install Malwarebyte and scan again overnight. Below is the log of the 2nd scan. With all programs & files are still hidden, what is the best way the bring them back.
Cheers
Pete

I may have to get someone else to help with this. Could you please describe the current situation as fully as possible.
Please post the first MBAM scan log so we can see what was found and removed:
