Need help with dos commands. Trying to flash ASUS bios.

Program shows this
AFUDOS V2.38

How to run the utility under DOS
-------------------------------------------
1. Run the file afudos.exe

Usage
-------------------------------------------
afudos /i<ROM filename> [/o<save ROM filename>]

I’m inputting
Afudos /I 2503.rom /o old.rom

It returns the usage message. Is the /o trying to save the current bios and if so do I need to know the proper name?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Personally I would not flash a BIOS unless the flash adresses an issue that you ar ehaving.
If the BIOS flash fails you could end up with an expensive paperweight.

Thats my 2 cents.
In the beginning there was the command line.

If you ask for help on a forum where we all volunteer our time out of our busy days to assist the least you could do is be nice!

I was just stating a fact.
In most cases there is absolutely no need to flash a BIOS.
In the beginning there was the command line.
