I am running a Linux distro and have installed the VLC Media Player 1.1.4 and have downloaded a load of new skins from the vlc site. The problem is when i open up the vlc media player i go to Tools => Preferences => Interface Settings and i then choose the option: Use Custom Skin. I then type in the path to the skin i want to use, which is:
~/vlc/skins2/WMP11.vlt and then click on choose. for some reason i am taken to the vlc folder, so i then open the skins2 folder and select the file: WMP11.vlt. But all i get is the option to save the file and a pop-up appears telling me that, the file already exists and do i want to replace it? Also how can i open up/extract the .vlt files. Can someone come to my rescue please
