It's an oddity.
I have some new computers I'm setting up, and was getting ready to configure wake on lan, to test implementation. You have to usually find something in the BIOS to configure, before configuring it through Windows (if I've rady right).
I can't get into the BIOS, because I have no POST/splash screen from the vendor for hit DEL or F12 or whatever the key is. The computer boots all the way into windows just fine, though.
Where's my BIOS? And how do I get back to it? I don't think I've ever seen a computer (Macs excluded) boot without the option to get into BIOS on boot. I must have missed something...

Step 1 tells you how to access the bios: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=si&taskId=130&prodSeriesId=4024462&prodTypeId=12454&objectID=c00007682
Bottom line, F1 or F10 should get you there.

And it did. Thank you. As long as I hit the keys during power-on, I was able to get into BIOS.
Thanks!
Thanks!
