copying files

In my system When i install windows xp from cd ,while copying files error display setup cannot find files but same windows xp cd install in another computer its copying correctly and installed.
What its problem ? please reply me.

Is the disk dirty or scratched?
Does the optical drive have problems reading other bootable CDs?
Have you run a diagnostics test on the hdd?

Is this an original, retail XP cd or a copy?
And of course you're aware that each individual copy is to be used to install on one system only, correct?
