You don't need to define a multicast address. In IPv6, it's part of the protocol. The same thing as defining a multicast address can be done by sending to the link-local (all nodes) multicast group at address ff02::1. That's the same as IPv4 multicast to 224.0.0.1, or in your case, 239.255.100.100.

Thank. I am using my school PC to be a server using ipv6 Multicast. But the ipv6 state is offline as shown below from the teredo interface. I have full admin to the computer as i reformat it to windows 7 pro. But the LAN is managed by the school as such the ipv6 teredo interface is offline.
How do i change the state of the teredo interface to be online?
This how the connection is between the computer and the internet.
Internet --> School network --> Router --> computer.
I have control of the router(DLINK-DL524) as it is mine.
C:\Users\aPpLeSiA>netsh interface ipv6 show teredo
Teredo Parameters
---------------------------------------------
Type : client
Server Name : teredo.ipv6.microsoft.com.
Client Refresh Interval : 30 seconds
Client Port : unspecified
State : offline
Error : client is in a managed network

I tried using udp://@ff02::1 or udp://@ff02::1:1234 as the port is 1234 on ipv6, but it does nt work. I used multicast 239.255.100.100:1234, it works on ipv4. I am using VLC to mulitcast video on ipv6.
