When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

If you have not received help after three days, please post a link to your topic HERE.

Problem began a week ago. I left a couple sites up overnight, nothing that seemed dangerous. My email, a professional site, and a word doc. Following day, my computer was virtually unusable. Ran AVG, Ad-aware, and malware-bytes in safe mode. Ad-Aware found and removed one object, but not much difference. Defragged and removed a few programs, but with no effect. Memory usage seems to be much higher than normal, with system using 119,000 k. Not sure what to do at this point. My email address at hotmail keeps saying "we can't connect to hotmail. Please check that your system is connected." Google searches are timing out, or saying that it is not connected. This all began in one day and is only getting worse. I posted in a different topic area but got no responses in almost a week. Thought I might post here. Please help, I have a lot of work to get done and feel crippled the way my computer is right now

I'm sorry that your other topic was overlooked.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
