I logged in as administrator and still get the same reply when running ipconfig /registerdns "the requested operation requires elevation."

This was computer wireless to > router > modem.. If you want me to connect to the router via ethernet let me know..

Here's the results. I also noticed I little while ago when trying to use an ethernet connection into router it detects the network as the old network name (what it was prior to resetting and reconfiguring router, however, wireless connection does detect it as new ssid/network name), do you think this could have anything to do with the problem?

I'd try to call Linksys, or use a chat: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/lbc/WRT110 to make sure, you have correct settings.
You never said, why you had to reset your router.

I called Linksys and they cloned the mac address and changed the IP address range the router used (apparently, ATT modems and Linksys routers use the same default IP range 192.168.1.1). I paid $30 to learn that, I guess its reasonable though.

I had reset the router because I had tried to log into it, as I had many times before, to change a setting so I could connect an additional computer to it and for whatever reason it wasn't letting me log in. Instead of trying to troubleshoot that problem I thought I would just reset the router and start from scratch not thinking I would have any trouble. Live and learn I guess, its all in a day's work.

Thanks for your efforts trying to help me out though.
