Hey,

So I recently built a new computer. It works great, except that the computer does not recognized the wired connection between the ethernet port and the router. I do not have a network card, but, if I understand everything correctly, that shouldn't matter since im running a line from the router to the computer.

So help, what do I do? I have 2 other laptops that connect to the wireless just fine, but for some reason the wired won't work.

Thanks!

Let me aask the obvious question first. Did you install the driver for the onboard NIC? Check the device manager to see if there are any devices with an exclaimation point.
