Hi Folks,

I wok online so I need my computer up and running 100% of the time. Since this is impossible (for me) I have two backup computers and two alternate means of getting on the Net...unless we get 'Egypted.'

My tech buddy is bone tired of holding my hand and referred me to this site. From the days of 640k RAM, black & white, and 300 baud modems up until the loss of Windows 3.1 and the creation of an unintelligible registry, I could fix anything on a computer myself. Obviously, those days are long gone and I need 'a little help from my friends.'

I fondly remember the extreme helpfulness of people on the 'net in those old days; all were honest, helpful, offered much for free, and Mal-ware was an unknown words, Trojans were condoms or guys with spears hiding in a wooden horse. There was one chap who cleverly took advantage of us by continually giving us a great free OS call DOS and constantly improving it. Ah, so smart and we were so naive.

There is little help I can offer for computer problems and much that I need now and will need in years to come. Hopefully there will be a way to make it fair dinkum.
