I use speccy to determine all my pc hardware stats. it finds my mobo stats right down to the serial number, it might even find your cooling system stats as well.

Speccy would be the ideal program to run if the computer was in fact capable of booting up, however in this particular case, the system has yet to be booted up.

I also want to suggest in this post checking under the cooler housing that is attached to the CPU heat sink for a possible motherboard model number.

Bruce.

Please take notice. Oreo and I will not be available until June of 2012.
Thank you for understanding my absence, it is job and college related, so all is good. If I do not answer your PMs this is the reason why. See you all soon!

Bruce.

I knew that but some how over looked it when I thought of speccy. Sorry about that.

Any how I did a little searching and found this link on where to locate the Model number on an Asus mobo. It says in step 2

Quote

Locate the motherboard's model number if you could not find the FCC number or your search was inconclusive. It will be located between the white PCI slots. Run the model number, such as M2N-VM or A8N32-SLI Deluxe, through the asus.com website to see if it matches the ASUS motherboard models (see link in Resources).

Yeah, that's just it Bruce, I tried to identify from all the stickers with what looked like possible model numbers, and it came up with nothing. I have a crappy old 2 megapixel camera I used, to take the pictures above with, and that's it. I will do that tomarrow for you though. I'll pull everything and try to give you a clear full shot. The drives are in Raid 0 config, I pulled the TV card that was in it, and also found out he had 2 8600 gts's in there. I thought they were 8900's. I guess if this doesn't do any good, I'll pull the board itself next, and look on the solder point side.

BTW, putting a new 80mm fan into that 750 Watt PS as I type this. Nice backup PS.

Hey guys! Sorry once again for the length of time between posts. I've decided, I'm just going to ditch the Mobo and CPU altogether. I will post a picture of the old board, when I'm salvaging parts, and replacing the Mobo and chip. Since this case weighs 2 tons, I'm also going to be diposing of it as well. Again guys, thank you for all the help, I could see you truley were trying ^^

I will be using Bleeping Computer again in the future, if I come across something I may need help with, with my computers. Or if there's anyway I can lend a hand as well. You guys Rock!
