google toolbar wont show google tool bar wont show up

google tool bar wont show up i reinstalled it from google.com and it still wont i have firefox version 3.6.15 and a windows 7. when i click options for the google toolbar on the add ons thing in firefox it dosent show and i cant close it. i have to either restart or use task manager to close the add ons window
