Whenever I start up my computer, the Internet Explorer wants to open. It of course is not connected to the Internet, so it says "page not found". Sometimes it opens up endless windows and I can't shut them down faster than they open.
I tried deleting Internet Explorer from my computer and seeing if that would stop it. But each time I turn on my computer again, it is back. It never goes away. I can close the IE window if it only opens one of them and my computer works fine after that, but it is always back at the next start-up.
I am currently using Windows XP professional and I use the Yahoo Browser for my internet access. I don't really use the Internet Explorer program itself.
How do I get rid of this annoying window that wants to open every time I turn my computer on??
