BleepingComputer.com: 25 pin DVI female - male 29 pin monitor?

My current computer has both DVI and VGA ports and I already have the VGA port connected to one of my monitors and I want to have a dual screen. My other monitor has a VGA port and need to get an adapter for it. I was looking around and saw many but almost all of them were 29 pin males and I have a 25 pin female. I can't seem to find any 25 pin males, if there are any. How would I go on doing this?

Compare the DVI connectors shown on wikipedia:

It sounds to me like your DVI out connector is DVI-D (Dual Link) which does not have the four analog pins which surround the shielding prong. That would mean if you're already using the discrete VGA output, a second monitor will have to have digital input, DVI or HDMI.

You can get them but unfortunately the digital to analog converter to take the DVI signal to VGA is likely to make it cost much the same as a basic monitor with DVI or HDMI.

Did you confirm that the connector is definitely DVI-D? I'm just working from the pin count to pick it as the likely one you were describing.
