Lynksys does not remember my pass number

My machine is about 6 years old I run XP 32 bit service pack 2 the machine is situated in an upstairs room the router is situated at the nearest to the incoming telephone socket on the floor below. 9 times out of 10 i have to type my pass number in to connect, bit of a pain really. anyone got any ideas PLEASE didnt mean to shout sorry

First thing I would recommend would be to update to service pack 3. Then after that if it still does it then we will continue.

I believe this was an issue that was fixed in sp3.
