My laptop has internet connectivity problems

I just lost connection again, but this is the first time in five days, so I will say that the situation is much improved (the first time I posted I had lost connection 4 times in two hours). This time I was able to run the Xirrus program successfully from own laptop. Here are the results. (I didn't run the other two tests...should I have? I'm assuming the results would have been the same as before.)

I'm not willing to take Norton off my machine. I won't feel secure without it. If its ultimately causing the problem I guess I'll have to live with that. Is there a way to determine that?

Taking a look at Norton, it looks to me like this occurred right around the time I was disconnected - do you think it might be related? If so, is there a setting I could change to stop it from happening?

the three ping tests do provide a lot of information on connectivity - so would be useful

yes, it maybe if at exact time disconnection occured - but not knowledgeable enough to know about it , and also nothing in google
