I'm sure you guys have all heard that Linksys has released a new version the ever so popular WRT54G /GS... coining it "GL" with the 'L' standing for Linux. The problem is it still only has 4MB of Flash mem... I want the versions that have 8! They just rebadged v. 4 and updated the Firmware. So versions 2.0 - 3.0 of the GS model have 8MB Flashmem and they are the ones to get.

Besides going to the stores and looking at all of the serial numbers on the boxes (because they don't say what version), anyone know a good online source where these can be found? Every online store I have seen lists everything about the product, but no serial number or version number of the router.

Thanks.

I don't have any info for you but would like to ask a question - why are you concerned about how much Flash memory the router has? All that does is store the firmware. I mean if it routes it routes, doesn't it?
