I have never had good experince with either Norton or MacAfee. I moved ove to the freeware solution over two years ago. I have not had a problem since and not virus or malware problems.
Antivirus (Run only one.) AVG Free Edition Antivirus (I personally use) Avast Home Edition Antivirus Freeware AntiVir Personal Edition Classic Freeware BitDefender 8 Free Edition AntiVirus Freeware Firewalls(Run only one.) Zone Alarm Free for Personal Use SyGate Personal Free Edition (I personally use) OutPost Firewall Free Jetico Personal Free Kerio Free Personal Firewall (Reported not to be offered after 12-31-2005) There are plenty of freewares out there with no headache, rather than paying for software that makes you pull your hair out. IMHO Merry Christmas. This post has been edited by acklan: Dec 20 2005, 11:48 PM -------------------- "2007 & 2008 Windows Shell/User Award" |
