Hello all,
I've been banging my head against the wall with a clean xp home install issue. gateway nx510, s/n: 0036802805, intel celeron m cpu, 420@ 1.60GHz, 1.60GHz, 504MB RAM. When i boot from my xp home sp3 oem all is well until hit enter to install, i get the message, "setup did not find any hard disk drives installed on your computer. setup cannot continue." my next step was to download the f6 x86 option driver onto a floppy drive. i selected both the sata ahci controller(desktop/ich8r) and sata ahci controller(server/workstation) options on seperate tries but still arrive at the same error msg. any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I would check the BIOS settings referred to.
