My Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 motherboard came with a software package that installed Gigabyte Raid Configurer on my PC and a RaidTool sub-folder in my Windows folder with a program file in it named xInsIDE.exe which starts automatically when the computer starts. I also have a GIGABYTE GBB36X Controller under Storage controllers in my Device Manager. I use no RAID drives. Can I safely uninstall Gigabyte Raid Configurer? Thanks.

Is there an entry in Add/Remove Programs?
Appears to be SATA/RAID controller...I'd leave it alone.
http://www.file.net/process/xinside.exe.html
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/xInsIDE.exe-21960.html
In that location, I would think it's legit.
