My computer lists it as a 'SCSI' im not sure why did they send me the wrong HD I certainly dont have a SCSI set up i have 32 bit vista lol

Yeah not sure why that would happen seems like an error with bios Maybe. Ok so first I need to know what your system manufacture and model is I also this drive is a secondary drive right?

amd athlon64x2 dual core processor 4000+2.11ghz
1982MB of memory
32 bit operating system x10.com
500 GB HD
the hd went i bought the samsung one and the only drive one is a dvd both are SATA

Some BIOSes reflect SATA drives as SCSI.

I guess thats it i have no idea what the hell is wrong im gonna give Samsung a call im baffled
