When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hello a couple weeks ago my google search engine started acting weird and it would redirect all my results pages that i clicked on to go to to some random, usually not related to my search at all, page. It seems like one of those like shopping search pages. It happens to almost all my google websearches but doesn't seem to happen to any yahoo.com or ask.com searches, well as far as i've seen i rarely use ask or yahoo unless i can't find something on google. I have AVG free antivirus 2011 home, and i also have malewarebytes anti-malware, neither have detected the virus for whatever reason and they are both up to date and i usually search with avg about once a day and i usually search with malewarebytes about every other day unless i seem to have a virus then i try a search usually once a day to make sure nothing else seems to sneak onto my laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm not very tech savvy so it would be best if the intructions were rather simple and easy to follow.

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
