Can someone help me resolve issues with computer slowness? It takes forever to boot up. Once windows has loaded, it takes a long time to load the internet. After that the slowness is not as bad but still very slow. Where do I start?
Thanks

I'm not a pro but I would start with makeing sure its clean and free of virus and spyware/adaware. If it hase viruses it can cause very slow performance. Try Malwarebytes Free download and install. Make sure you update it first then do a quick or full system scan. This program can find lots of bad things and take care of them for u. Once done if it says pc needs to be restarted do it because its part of the removal process. Then do SuperAntiSpyware and do the same process. Make sure you have antivirus protection to and set it to scann also once a week or so. Just make sure you dont scan with any of these at the same time as they may conflict with each other. The Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware are on demand scanners so you have to manually update and scan everytime and i would say do it once a week. I hope this helps.
