If the max acceptable temps are 100 - 105F

And hers are 70 - 80C. 70 - 80C = 158 - 176F.

I think the problem has been found.

My bad Kimbobimbo.
You are correct. In my reply I had gone strictly by a previous post and not looked at the manual myself.

I know laptops run hoter than desktops, but didn't think that much hotter. It does seem in spec though. If not heat, my second choice is a RAM issue which she is trying out now.

kimbobimbo, it's been awhile since I had to use MemTest, but if you're getting stuck at a certain point, or having a specific issue, please post back with it and maybe I can help. :)

So I ran memtest for awhile i think it tested it 5 or 6 times or about 8 hours and it passed every time with no errors. So my last thing i was going to try was to reinstall my drivers. I've had my computer for almost a year before it started messing up so should I just reinstall the copy of the drivers i made when I got my computer or should I download them from gateway, or does it make a difference?

It is always a good idea to check the OEM site for the most current drivers.
