I'm having a hard time deciding which video card to purchase. This can be a tricky decision with a Micro-ATX motherboard. I already ordered this huge EVGA dual-slot card. But there are cooling, space management, and obstructive issues to consider. I'll probably return it to Newegg in the unopened box. And it seems that single-slot cards are fading away.

Can you use a PCI Express 2.1 X 16 video card in a PCI Express 2.0 X 16 slot? Will it fit? And will it run at the PCI Express 2.0 X 16 speed?

Thanks,
Dave

Yes you can and they are cross compatible. You won't notice the difference with the speed.

Excellent, then I know a single-slot card that will give me the power I need. Thanks
