When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hello, all. This is my first use of this forum. I am fairly computer illiterate and a little frustrated by my constant computer issues. I made a mistake of clicking on Smart Internet Explorer 2011. I have been following a you tube tutorial on how to fix this issue and I am at a step where I need to download rkill, but am unable to download it due to a message that says "windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." This message will not go away from my screen and I am fairly certain it is because this other program spyhunter keeps popping up windows regarding what I should allow or block and I think I blocked a valid attempt. Can anyone help?
