Hi old friend!
I've been giving a bit more thought to your situation and, if I were you, instead of letting it bother me I think I'd be having a good chuckle. After all, you've set up an impregnable barrier that, despite their best efforts, these chumps have not been able to penetrate. Think about how much you must be infuriating them. I mean, every day they're coming along and, as it were, battering at your walls but failing to dislodge a single pebble, hurling rocks at your windows without shattering even one. I think I'd find it amusing to open up my MBAM log daily and count up the number of their failed attempts. You must be driving them nuts! Sooner or later I'm sure they're going to tire of their repeated failures, admit they've met their match, and move on to a softer target.
I think you should start looking on the bright side. You are the guy who is winning this game. They're just a bunch of losers.

The type of scans you are experiencing are likely automated. Meaning there is not one person\script kiddie setting in some basement attempting to crack only your PC. More likely an organization with a PC\server dedicated to running 24\7 scanning for open ports from any PC in any Country. Attempting to harvest what ever info that can be found. It happens every day in every country and every home that has an Internet connected PC. The IP`s are scanned in groups\blocks. That is why an IP change, at least temporally, seems to stop them.
A properly configured router between your ISP`s modem and your PC would be as or even more effective at blocking them. After adding a router you would likely never hear a peep out of MBAM.

Hello friends!!
Sorry I didn't respond sooner.
I just got out out the hospital today. I had a very bad infection in my urinary track. A very painful thing.I'm doing better but still recovering.
Thank you for your reply's
Yes I do feel very good about blocking these malicious IP's scrather.
You have explained what is taking place very well ThunderZ.
We are aware of all of this and yet we sit by and allow this to take place. That doesn't say much for us PC users does it??
I think if we are aware of this, then it should be prosecuted and stopped.
I'll give you a good reason why it's allowed to continue.MONEY.
Yes a good router that has been programed and installed would solve this problem.
How many software venders make a living by selling programs to block this behavior??
This all started for me after exposing IObit software on several forums for their shabby programs.
I have never heard of anyone but myself getting 700+ scans in 24 hours.
I know where and why these are hitting my PC is what I'm trying to say on this thread, and it pisses me off that it's allowed to go on.
These are all Chinese IP's and they are coming from IObit's people.
I really haven't any more to add.
I really thank you friends for your reply's.
My concern is for all those people out there that don't have a clue and are being hacked because those of us that are aware of these things sit by and do nothing to try to stop this behavior. Sure they should all be geeks like us and protect them selves but they aren't and never will be. I do what I can to spread the word.
Thank you friends!!
