I recently contracted a scour redirect virus that automatically directs me through scour.com instead of the google chrome browser window I opened. After running a total scan using MBAM, and quarantining the threats, I was asked to restart to complete the removal process. Since I restarted I have been unable to access the web, despite resetting my wireless connection, and going through numerous and lengthy attempts to re-establish. So after some research I decided to run the combofix application. I read that this "fix" doesnt necessarily do the whole job and was wondering what additional measures I might need to take to get the virus removed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, for the connection try this..
--open control, internet options, connections tab, lan settings, uncheck the box next to "use proxy...."
OR
Go to Start ... Run and type in cmd
A dos Window will appear.
Type in the dos window: netsh winsock reset
Click on the enter key.

Reboot your system to complete the process.
