Hey all!
This is my first time post, so be gentle.
Ok... is there anyway to get a full and complete e-mail address just by having an IP address? Is there anyway to send an e-mail to an IP? 155.241.202.26 (I just made this one up)
Anyone know?
Your help would be great!!
Cheers..x India

Ip Email Address IP Question

India Gad,
Short answer, no. About the best you can do is identify who owns the IP or range of IP's and contact the registered owner. An IP address is the logical address of a network adapter. The IP address uniquely identifies computers on a network. An IP address can be private, for use on a LAN, or public, for use on the Internet or other WAN. So with that said email addresses have nothing in common with an IP. Sorry to disappoint.

The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.
