When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Greetings and help: This was from someone else's post but it is very similar to my problems.

•A message box pops up and states: "Generic Host process for Win32 services encountered a problem and needs to close."

• Start button changes its look to a more Windows 95 old look.

•Unable to get to Windows Updates page. When I click on Start-> Windows Update a page opens in IE and says "Page cannot be displayed"

•On first start up today, it loaded all the way to desktop background but desktop icons never appeared. Did a hard shut down and then icons appeared on next start up.

•IE, Firefox, do not open sometimes. Sometimes they open, sometimes they dont.

•Computer sometimes does not shut down and I must manual shut down holding down power button.

•Start up seems to take longer than it used to.

As you have an open topic here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic376729.html I will close this one to avoid confusion.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
