emailing virus or ? friends tell me they are getting mysterious emails

from my email address...

somebody has captured my computer and is using my address book to send out fake emails...
which probably is infecting my friends, too

what is this called... phishing? spoofing? what?

i'm using Kaspersky Labs internet security suite... which is supposed to state of the art...
but this virus (or??) got thru...

how can i get rid of this virus (or ?) and prevent a return
