I took a stick of memory out of my computer and replaced with a faster stick of ram,
i booted up and nothing happened so i took it out and put my old ram back in again.
When i booted up again i got 3 beeps but also repeating so like 1,1,1 and then the same again.
I thought it was a ram problem so i purchased another stick and put that in but the same thing happened.
I don't know if i knackered the motherboard or the ram is faulty some advice would be welcome
Brian

System manufacturer and model...or, if custom/self-made, motherboar manufacturer and model?

Since all sticks of RAM are not equal or compatible with every system...some specs on the RAM modules you are referring to, please.

Louis
