I recently downloaded glary undelete for recovering deleted files but I do not have a way to purge deleted files other than formatting the drives with ccleaner's driver wiper ect. Is there a good free program that can both purge deleted files and undelete files? I'd prefer a program that's not huge or very complicated to use, with an available folder listing option instead of just listing all deleted files together in a drive.

That's right I forgot about Recuva thanks. Glary finds a lot more recoverable files on the same drive than Recuva despite the deep scan. It wouldn't overwrite some deleted files too. Weird.

Anyone know of another program I might have better success with?

To delete files I use and like Eraser.
However. On all my XP machines I still run an older vers. 5.8.8 which can be found here.
