When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hey all,

Could someone please guide me on the proper steps to posting a log on this forum to see if my computer has been infected with ANYTHING?

I'm running a 5-year old Windows XP with SP3(?). My antivirus programs are COMODO Internet Security and some Symantec product that a friend installed (not sure what it's called...all I know is that it was made by Symantec). I also have Spybot S&D and CCleaner. if there's any other information that I need to provide, let me know. That same friend installed HijackThis on the computer, but I don't know how it works.
