Hello!
I have recently had troubles with malware and I am in the process of removing it with the help from the forms however I have reached a stage where I need the operating cd yet I never got one with my laptop and the guy that is helping me says there are other ways around this however he has suggested I get help in this section to get past this point and then I can continue with the removal.

If you received neither an OS disk nor a restore disk you should contact the company from which you purchased your computer and ask them to supply one. They usually will do so for a nominal fee.

Unfortunately, the Windows cd's provided by a lot of system manufacturers are not the same as a genuine cd and do not provide a lot of repair functionality that a genuine Windows cd does.
Do you know anyone that you might possibly borrow a genuine Vista cd from?

My only suggestion is maybe to go out and buy a Windows Installation CD for your version of Windows Vista. If you are not able to find one via a friend or family member.
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.
