Greetings all,

Thanks in advanced for your time.

1. Vista boots to a blinking cursor

Fix Attempt* - boot into safe mode via F8, results in automatic system reboot.

2. Vista boot CD

Fix Attempt* - I can't find it. :(

3. Bart P.E/Commander Bootloader Disks :o

Fix Attempt* - It gets to the windows xp boot screen then I get the blue screen of death as follows:

could this be a hardware problem? Even though I haven't tried to Vista CD the boot loader should work just fine.

regards,

mushin

Hi,
What events led up to this blue screen happening if you know? Also what are your system specs just in case, we may need them later.

After bart p.e progress bar finishes, a couple seconds into the windows xp boot screen appearing, the blue screen error appears.

When tapping F8, do you have the option "Repair Windows"?
