I did a Comodo Firewall and Windows Update today, when it rebooted, I have an account named localhost (password proctected, admin). I don't recall this account showing before, so I'm just a little nervous. I'm also using the MVPS (I think) host file.

I have the following setup:
Vista Ultimate, SP2
Intel Celeron D, 3.33 GHz
1.50GB RAM
32-bit
AVG 2011 (updated daily)
Comodo Firewall v5.3.175888.1227

Any suggestions/ideas?

thanks

Ok, thanks. It may have been there for awhile, I just don't remember it. Do you think there would be any harm in deleting that profile.

I believe, that user is created by Mysql, if you have it installed on your computer.

I don't recall installing that. As a matter of fact, I haven't installed anything lately other than updates.

Possibly, it got installed with something else. Check "Programs & Features" in Control Panel.

Nope, nothing new. The last installed/updated program was AVG (12/28/10). Well, if it doesn't cause any harm, I'll Leave it.
