Have sony vaio bx560b. When I boot up the computer, it boots up but after like five seconds I get the 'Paged fault .../' error. I booted into safe mode and this time the paged fault did not occur. So I can conclude that it is software causing the paged fault. But if I go to msconfig, is there an easier way to find the culprit other than doing it step by step, that is unchecking one at a time and rebooting everytime until the culprit is found?

Any new hardware installed lately? ram?
I would disable everything in msconfig startup except for things that refer to sony/vaio and your mouse pad (may need audio too)
I typically leave my startup clean and call the programs as I need them. I guess if you have anti-virus programs that you use,
you would choose to keep them enabled. I'm a rebel.
