When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hello,

I have been commissioned by my mother to fix her mini hp laptop. She says that she purchased norton and used it to clean her computer but after the cleaning she could not access any other sites besides https. I tried booting in safe mode with networking and resetting IE's security setting to default. I restarted in regular mode and could still not access any other sites besides https. I rebooted in safe mode with networking and came to the only site I know that can fix anything to post this information. I hope any of the information is helpful and thank you for your hard work.

Running winxp

Thanks,

B
